The next chapter.
Early retirement haha. Moving right near the beach on Burleigh Point, Burleigh Heads!
I can't wait. Although the unit is 25% more expensive and 25% smaller to where I'm living in Kangaroo Point, it will be worth it. New places inspire me and I really need that right now. Living by the beach will keep my mind clear too. I can't wait!
As well as undertaking my ArtStart activities, I will be starting my very own official business soon with the NEIS program: Azured Vault.
Within this I will personally offer services in multimedia design for events, festivals, musical acts, parties, community projects. My business will provide live visuals, VJ'ing, audio-visual technicality, video design, editing, decor and even stage design. I will run this from my new place. My work will be very original, conceptual and artistic. It is suited to smaller scale events and acts and I'm staying way away from cooperate or uncultured activities.
It's hard as an artist doing something like NEIS, you have to really rely on something that sells. Which I must admit is the least of my priority when making art. But hopefully it will balance out and I can blur the line between my original art pieces and design briefs.
anyway stay tuned!

My First Grant
So in the next 12 months there is going to be some serious work on my professional development and art making. With the grant I will be able to afford more suitable equipment, undertake some short courses, make daily traveling as a non-student more affordable, create a fully active business/folio/art website and continue to focus on my art as my primary activity.
I am going to need to apply for a couple more now :) On a roll I hope!
Brink of The Verge
Brink Of The Verge from Kimberley Bianca
At the brink of the verge
where time is unknown
and car alarms and microwave hums are only known
only verity
the only facet consuming sanity
at the brink of the verge
why cant i just fall down when I jump from slumber?
or move forward in wheeled machine commencing
for there is no reality in this
nor time
nor sanity
where verity and whats real lose each other like lovers
lose meaning
therfore all feeling
but never numb.
I will never feel numb
I am numb
this chill can't be my bed alone
this heat can't be my head alone
I'm not alone
Just at the brink of the verge
Alone!
as is the chill and the heat
the time, the verity, the sanity
the love
fallen at the brink
never at the verge
The Talers
The Tale'rs from Kimberley Bianca
It was a fufilling tale
one which raptured all the frail
reckoning my beckoning face
I then faced the taste of haste
Sneaking around corners when all appeared in tact
In fact nothing was safe
and nothing was in place
When repairing the puzzle
I noticed a shimmering key
Directing me to the hungry minds that flee
Behind a door of temptational beauty
Bang the door goes behind me
like any great dream it then disappears
Im trapped in land of idealists
with scarlet hearts and frivolous pasts
craving hyper-existence and all appears in tact
In fact nothing is safe
and nothing is in place
the world needs a winter
the world needs that rain
it doesn't welcome another dreamer
it want no more shame
so accumulate souls in spiral
leave them on a quest
a never ending tale
banish us from life's test
RiverCity
RiverCity from Kimberley Bianca
Down by the water of the kadinsky coloured bank
off the wavered cliffs, descending darkness
river city! unbend the deep souled song
locking in, losing control
a figure of the sharpest life
branching from subliminal
and paint skies of mighty illusion
serene brightness
lots of luck to the fisherman
gutting my lacquered love,
consume it for supper
lick the foam off my salted breeze
the unpredictable speculation of love
braving a body of boats
pound that metal into an already shrapnel heart
believe in my eyes again
reflecting blue embers
they decorate the clouds
waves uniting their separation
I float through the restless sea
and in the sea restless I enter space
Chapter One: Eruption
Around about now we fell from the mechanism holding us up
It was only at this time we could see the poor structure
You found my hand through the dissolution
you knew this was the only safe link
you took me back up to where the mechanism once was
Repairs and constructions had their fumes
so to breath we kissed
I wasn't so keen on sticking around
you planned for us to simply dissolve from this
we escaped without a scratch
The new orbit created weariness in us
an eruption of mess, mass and trash, exploding in all its might
A clean slate of glass descended above
and from above it's separations fate was due to us. fatal in it's fate
very emotional, non-stop chaos, spreading through our links
our links will never disintegrate
